Quite a significant increase for Glover, which went from 25%(8) to 67% (6). A pretty good choice for a revote in that sense I'd say, it did seem to be rather underrated the first time around.

And now, everyone's favourite, statistics!

GAB Stats for N64:

- We rated 324 games across 57 topics. It took just a little bit over 2 years.
- Of the 324 games rated, 140 (43.2%) were in the high range, 107 (33.0%) were in the mid range, and 77 (23.8%) games were in the low range.
- This is by far the most games in the high range of any system we've done so far. It's often said that N64 has the highest ratio of good games of any system, and I feel this is at least strong evidence that that is indeed the case.
- Of the 58 games whose title included the number 64, 30 (51.7%) were in the high range, 11 (19.0%) were in the moderate range, and 17 (29.3%) were in the low range.
- This supports the findings from the SNES topic that including the name of the system in your title statistically raises the chance of your game being good. What's in a name? A lot, apparently!
- 36 users gave a total of 238 SRs to 81 different games. This is the highest number of SRs given per user of any system.
- No game in the low range received an SR, which has never happened before.
- The games with the most ratings were Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, both with 26 votes. The next highest was Mario Kart 64, with 25 votes. These are also the top 3 most voted games in the history of GAB.
- In fact, N64 had 10 games that got 20 or more votes, which no GAB game has ever done before, meaning the top 10 games by number of votes are all on N64.
- Of games that got 100%, Starfox 64 had the most votes, at 20. It also tied Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask for the most SRs, with all 3 having 12 SRs.
- Of games that got 0%, Superman: The New Superman Adventures had the most votes, at 11. This is also the most votes for any game to ever get 0%, giving it the lowest rating ever in GAB. This is probably not a huge surprise.

Closing Thoughts:

Of all the GAB topics I've run so far, and this is the 4th system to finish, the N64 GAB was likely the most enjoyable to run. As I alluded to above, the quality rate on N64 was very high, every week I felt like I could barely choose which games would appear in the topic title. However, a big portion of what made the N64 topics so rewarding to run was all of you. The participation rate in the N64 topics was the highest we've seen on any system so far, and seeing everyone's enthusiasm for the process really helped me find the energy to keep working on it, which can be a bit tricky sometimes after all this time. I'm really grateful to everyone who participated in these topics.

I've said before that I always feel a little sad when these topics come to an end, because it kind of feels like saying goodbye to part of my past. However, it's never really over. Just yesterday, a fan translation for Shiren the Wanderer 2 was released, and I contemplated nominating that for a revote now that more people would be able to play it, but in a certain sense I appreciate that GAB can't ever truly cover everything. It lets me feel like there's always a little bit more to discover out there.

It's perhaps not a very surprising result that Mischief Makers dropped slightly (from 86 -> 79), as its score was already very high, but I think it made an interesting touchpoint to see how things have changed since the start of the N64 GAB, since it was one of the first games we rated. Something I thought was cool to see when going over the original topic is how many of the same people are still around to rate it this time. The participation in this GAB has been great in general, which I'm very happy about.

I was a bit worried by the early votes for DK64 that it was going to go down, but it actually went up quite significantly, from 53% to 73%. I was also glad that we covered ODT, which is not only a complete game but also very different from the PS1 version, it definitely earned its place in the list.

The number of SRs given out in this topic was simply staggering. I think this is the most people to fill out all of their SRs of any GAB, though I haven't actually checked. Either way, I'm glad to see people using them up, though hopefully I didn't make any mistakes while updating the list.

I mentioned that I thought Majora's Mask was decisive, but I guess in the end it really wasn't. That's what happens when you only look at the beginning and end and miss the string of like 15 Gs in the middle. It's also interesting that both it and OoT got 26 votes. OoT's score is higher, but MM has more SRs.

It's obviously kind of irresponsible to put up two games that only exist as prototypes for the final topic, particularly considering Dinosaur Planet can't even be fully completed, but I feel it's recent discovery is simply too notable to be ignored. We also have 40 Winks, which only recently saw an official release, but it existed as a fully complete prototype for ages so I was always planning on putting it up eventually.

I'm really liking this huge turnout for the last few topics. I guess that's one thing you can say for the N64 library, its brevity and high overall level of quality certainly makes GAB easy to run.

It's very funny to me that Batman Beyond is the second-lowest rated game in the N64 GAB. What's the lowest? Superman 64, of course. Batman vs Superman, rivals for all time.

Although the title should make it obvious, this is not the same game that released in North America under the title Bomberman 64, but a completely different Japan-only game that plays more like the traditional bomberman games. This was a topic full of ratings that were very borderline, both for making the high range, and also for getting the squiggle bracket. I'm actually surprised that nothing got the squiggle bracket considering how spread out the ratings were.

We're nearing the end of the N64 topics, and one thing I got out of this experience is I finally learned how to spell Cruis'n without having to look it up every time. Of course, this skill will probably never be relevant again unless Nintendo decides to port Cruis'n Blast to Switch. Also, we have Custom Robo V2, which is a somewhat Japanese-heavy game, but I wrote a translation guide for it a while back if anyone wants to play it.

An interesting back and forth on several games in this topic, but nowhere moreso than F-1 World Grand Prix 2. I don't think I've ever seen a game get only Gs and Bs like that. This is the very definition of a "love it or hate it" game.

Great turnout this time. I was surprised to see the perfect score for Battletanx, though the original game did pretty well too, actually. I guess the series is kind of a hidden gem for the system.

I've actually kind of been dreading putting Road Rash 64 up for GAB. For a long time I've named it among the best N64 games, but I haven't played it in ages and I'm not sure how it'll compare to my memory of it. I'm also interested to see how people are going to rate Paper Mario, as I feel like this one is one that has instead become much more popular over time.

In retrospect, I probably should have chosen Diddy Kong Racing as the holiday game instead, I've always kind of associated it with Christmas due to the Walrus Cove track. It was also hard to know what to do with NFL Blitz. There are 4 Blitz games on N64, but they're all extremely similar. I often lean towards doing the first and the last version of a game, so perhaps that's what we'll do here.
